Bulgaria

I have never been to Rila monastery and this makes me one of the very few (unfortunate) Bulgarians who have never been there (shame on me!). Hope to make it there this or the next summer, though:) Anyway, here are two cool pictures.

Yet another place I would love to go to (OK, these are the last pictures of places I've never been to, promise!) is Zheravna. Just take a look.

Razgrad is the town I grew up in. This is where I stay most of the time when I go back to Bulgaria. My mom, stepdad, and brother still live there. And lots and lots of friends too. It is a pretty small town, and the rate of unemployment is over 20%. That's why so many coffee shops - people without a job spend a good portion of their day hanging out there (only to be joined at 5 PM by those who have one:).
