Vili came for a visit in July 2009, so we took the opportunity to go to San Francisco for a few days. We saw the King Tut exhibit, which was back in San Francisco for the first time in 30 years, caught a performance of Wicked, went to Berkeley to bum around for an afternoon and paid a visit to Alcatraz. We also enjoyed the great restaurants in San Francisco, including a Dim Sum pig out the day we left. Karen, Vili, and Jack also went to the Georgia O'Keefe - Ansel Adams at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and were also able to catch the Richard Avedon exhibit that opened the same day we were there. It was a packed weekend.
